| This feature allows the recognition of placement, rotation, and distortion of a working piece by using a camera, mounted on the machine. The parts to be processed are placed approximately on the machine. Then the images of the camera will be analyzed to obtain the exact position, orientation, and deformation, relative to the original graphics. During output the graphics will be transformed, so that it fits the working piece. Possible applications are cutting of Large Scale Prints in the Sign Making industry, or the processing of Screen-Printed front panels. Whenever multiple working-steps need to be combined (ex: Printing -> Cutting, Laminating -> Milling, Drilling, etc.), the camera function can be applied. The Camera Panel is the working panel of the Camera recognition. Here you can identify the pattern to be recognized, and after defining the starting point, you can press Start and run the Job. Three buttons do the job! You can interrupt the automatic recognition of markers by pressing "Restart". The result of the transformed output can be displayed an previewed on the screen. The output will be rotated, positioned, and scaled according to the camera recognition. Also deformations affecting the entire surface area can be fitted. In our example crosses were used as markers. It is also possible to use Circles, as they are more tolerant to rotation. Also, corner patterns can be recognized or other connected pattern. The camera Settings allow customizing the camera-recognition of the Job. Cenon offers three modi of operation. An optional Search for the 2nd point may safe some manual word in extrem cases. The camera offset can be adjusted without losing precious time. |
